SUMMARY:Ben Winspear - A Day With The Artist
DESCRIPTION:“Ben Winspear – A Day With The Artist” \nAn immersive art experience at Lon Retreat\, Point Lonsdale \nJoin us at the breathtaking Lon Retreat for Layers\, an art exhibition celebrating the intersection of art and nature at the Lon Retreat estate in Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula. This intimate showcase features the stunning landscape works of Ben Winspear\, whose brush captures the elemental beauty of Point Lonsdale’s rugged coastline. \nWander through the retreat’s serene gallery spaces\, then step outside at 11 am as Ben leads a plein air demonstration\, painting directly from the windswept scenery that inspired his work. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and engage throughout — a rare opportunity to witness the creative process up close. \nAt 2 pm\, gather by the fire for a relaxed fireside chat and drink. This relaxed fireside chat will explore Ben’s inspirations\, his artistic journey\, the stories behind his work\, and his unique approach to painting en plein air\, with space for questions and conversation. \nAll proceeds raised from purchased drinks at the fireside chat will be donated to Bellarine Landcare. A charity that aims to preserve\, protect and enhance the natural environment of the Bellarine Peninsula. \nTo find out more about Bellarine Landcare\, click here. \nWhether you’re an art lover\, nature seeker\, or looking to deepen your artistic knowledge\, you are invited to slow down\, look closer\, and feel the landscape in every brushstroke. \nThis is an open event so everyone is more than welcome to attend – no need to purchase tickets. \nLook forward to seeing you all there for a brilliant day!
